A History of Art, Love & Decadence

I live, with my husband and an assortment of animals, in a c.1850's fieldstone farmhouse, near the middle of nowhere in southwestern Ontario, Canada.
We have two grown children and the most adorable grandson.

I have a little boutique on our property
where I carry my jewellery and my other creations
like shabby pretty crafting supplies, vintage, dishware, aprons and paper gifts
such as handbound journals.

The Decadent Artist in Trade...

I handcraft orignal designs in jewellery.
"Decadence 2" is my business and it showcases
my creative use of gemstones and precious metals
meant to adorn the individual who likes to wear something  just a little different, earthy & beautiful.

My pieces run the gamut from elegantly simple,
to more indulgent one of a kind artisan designs.
My work has been described as...

" flaunting a hint of the bordello, a touch of romance
and the flavour of a treasure from your grandmother."

I strive for quality at any price point.
Plastic, low quality glass beads or non-precious metals are never used in my work, beyond the "recycled vintage" components sometimes present in
OOAK Artisan Jewellery.

I start with the finest of precious metals
such as sterling silver or gold,
toss in a liberal amount of delectable gemstones,
mixed with found objects
like 100 year old china doll pieces,
vintage tintypes or 'alternative' materials
such as wood, bone or antler.

Always presented with a flourish & flair,

it becomes something decadent for you or a friend...
